About Our Company

At Precision-Paragon [P2], we specialize in helping lighting contractors give their clients the absolute best lighting solutions available. Many of us come from the world of energy efficient lighting contracting, so we are intimately familiar with the entire process and uniquely able to provide contractors with the resources and products that help them satisfy end users.

Precision Energy Efficient Lighting was formed in 1992 as a manufacturer of energy efficient commercial and industrial luminaires and conversion kits. Over the next decade Precision-Lighting was one of the fastest growing lighting manufacturers in the country. Paragon Lighting was founded in 1995 with a customer base centered around the Midwest. In 2005, both companies were acquired by the Varon Group, allowing them to expand their operations even further, and the group was acquired by Hubbell Lighting Inc. in 2008. In 2009, Precision-Lighting and Paragon Lighting joined to become Precision-Paragon [P2]

Today Precision-Paragon [P2] works closely with lighting-service contractors, energy-savings contractors and energy efficiency focused distributors to provide complete lighting solutions. Precision-Paragon [P2] offers its customers an unmatched level of service, flexibility, speed and energy efficiency.

Combined Excellence

In early 2009 two energy-efficient specialist companies, Precision-Lighting and Paragon Lighting, came together as Precision-Paragon [P2]. As partners with shared goals, experience and capabilities, Precision-Lighting and Paragon Lighting, now combined as [P2], serve our customers better today than ever before.
